Volunteer Opportunities
Thank you for interest in volunteering for the Inaugural Public Theology & Public Policy Conference. Whether you plan to serve as a greeter, or a runner, we appreciate the time you are giving us to make this conference a success.
Below you will find additional information about the roles and expectations of our volunteers.

Runner | assist conference production teams and YDS staff to fulfill requests as needed.

We ask our volunteers to be passionate, outgoing, friendly and professional as we’re representing the Yale Divinity School and leaders of faith. With that in mind, we ask our volunteers to come ready to learn and able to help our guests. You may receive a lot of questions as a volunteer, but don’t worry, we’ll provide you with the tools to help answer accordingly based on your area of responsibility.
If you sign-up, please make sure you can commit. We’ll ask you to complete all shifts in which you’re assigned — at least one 4hr shift per day to provide consistency with guest experiences.

In order to be a volunteer, not only do we ask that you bring the positive attitude our visitors are used to being welcomed with, but that you be at least 18 years of age.
We can accommodate all volunteers’ capabilities and will work with you to ensure you are comfortable in your assigned role.
